1 day digital darkroom - level 1 - Basic Photoshop/Adobe Elements

  • Colour corrections
  • Understanding resolution and what this means to us as photographers
  • Cropping
  • Cleaning up images using the clone tool
  • Preparation of images for emails and web sites
  • Correcting exposure and white balance errors
  • Correcting redeye
  • Sharpening your photos
  • Image storage, and databasing

This workshop is best suited to beginners in the world of digital photography. It is open to both owners of compact digital cameras and digital SLR's. We have computers available for the day but anyone wishing to bring their own laptop is most welcome to do so. You should have either Photoshop or Adobe Elements pre-loaded.

Digital Darkroom: Advanced Level - More advanced Photoshop

Take your digital darkroom knowledge to the next level with this Advanced Digital Darkroom intensive one-day workshop, including the lessons below:

  • Advanced colour correction techniques
  • Using and processing RAW files
  • Combining images into new compositions
  • Stitching images together to make panoramas
  • Using the Quick Mask to seamlessly remove items from an image and make image repairs
  • Restoring highlight details
  • Advanced sharpening techniques
  • Correcting converging verticals


Days will commence at 9.00 am and run to approximately 5.00 pm
